HTML alt Attribute

The HTML alt attribute gives alternative information for an image.

You can use the alt attribute with the following elements:

<area>

<img>

<input> (only can be used with <input type=”image”>)

Area Example:

<body>

<p>Click on the laptop, or the cup of coffee:</p>
